Objective One is to offer resort developers a constructive platform to share ideas and strategies on the running and promotion of timeshare. AIRDA also works with developers to cut a clean image in the industry and offer fair value on holiday packages to customers.

Objective Two is to play an advisory role with end-customers and users of vacation ownership and timeshare – offering guidelines and tips on choosing the right timeshare packages. This includes raising awareness levels of consumer rights and responsibilities, building credibility and consumer confidence. AIRDA also plays the role of an ombudsman - especially on consumer issues that are not subjudice.

Objective Three is to represent AIRDA members and their concerns at a policy making level and tourism departments that have timeshare and vacation ownership under their purview. The objective here is to develop and grow timeshare industry & optimize / leverage the huge potential in the domestic tourism market.

To start with, new resorts get all the guidance they need from Airda on specific areas concerning various aspects of timeshare operations. Regular interactions with AIRDA can help members develop and implement self-regulatory formats and gain from a peer-to-peer sharing on strategies, operations and processes.

All member resorts under the AIRDA banner can benefit from government incentives towards project and operational stages – this facility is under a special classification by MOT.

Displaying AIRDA’s membership certificate gives customers the additional reassurance of backing by a self-regulatory body. New members also gain from increased visibility through one-to-one interviews, articles and videos on the AIRDA website. All members can participate at conferences and major hospitality forums as an official AIRDA participant.
