The All India Resort Development Association (AIRDA) is pleased to share that we have officially joined the Board of Directors of the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) with effect from 1st November 2025. This is a significant milestone that positions AIRDA as a partner in helping shape India’s tourism and hospitality landscape.
With our induction, the total number of FAITH member associations now stands at eleven. FAITH is the India policy think-tank set up by the eleven national tourism travel and hospitality associations, ADTOI, AIRDA, ATOAI, FHRAI, HAI, IATO, ICPB, IHHA, ITTA, TAAI & TAFI.
The FAITH Conclave 2026, held at Hotel Taj Palace, on July 16 and 17, 2026 in New Delhi under the theme “Incredible India: Invaluable Economics,” brought together policymakers, tourism stakeholders, and industry leaders to deliberate on a shared strategic vision for strengthening India’s position as a leading global tourism destination. The conclave provided an important platform for advancing public-private collaboration, facilitating meaningful stakeholder engagement, and identifying actionable policy and industry priorities to realise the country’s substantial tourism potential.
At the conclave, FAITH presented its Tourism Growth Charter, a comprehensive and time-bound action framework aimed at accelerating tourism-led economic growth, enhancing employment generation, supporting balanced regional development, and strengthening India’s competitiveness within the global tourism landscape. The Charter outlines a coordinated roadmap for leveraging tourism as a key driver of sustainable and inclusive economic development.
